I can hear David speaking as I write - so distintive calm and immediately recognisable.  This was true where i first knew him at school assemblies at RBHS - riso -.

both he and I were keen cricketeers and we did once ‘appear together to open the batting’ at an assembly.

David related just how we can act in all situations to show God’s love.

well David may be considered to be out just now but we all know he will be forever IN our hearts and IN God’s hands.
