In 2010 Harriet and I were staying with two other couples at Laxford Lodge in Sutherland, Scotland, one of the most remote parts of the British Isles. In the visitors’ book we were very surprised to find an entry “What a privilege it is to stay in this beautiful place that God has created.” Signed, David Taylor from Godmanchester. At that stage we didn’t know David or Kathleen well but when we returned, I asked him after a Sunday service if it was indeed him who had written that entry.” Guilty as charged”, he replied with a smile.
