David was tall (😊) kind, gentle, with a lovely smile, passionately committed to Ministry, an incredible networker who literally knew everybody . A very proud family man with boundless energy and enthusiasm. In some ways he was ‘old school’ in the best sense of the word but at the same time always up for the next new challenge up ahead. An enthusiastic Town Councillor, David was often out and about cycling or walking - a very positive presence in the community and highly respected and loved by everyone who knew him. We would smile whenever we saw him. David was moderator at GBC when John and I first came so we will always be grateful to him for being instrumental in what was a very happy time for us .
